Cubby was acquired by Mary Kay, president of Cats for Life, through one of those neibhborhood.com "free kittens" ads.  Many kittens will die as a result of something like that for many reasons.  Cubby and his siblings had a parasite called coccidia, which can cause kittens to become dehydrated and die, or someone who acquired the "free" kittens could have gotten tired of the diarrhea that coccidia can cause and thrown them outside.   

Cubby and his siblings are all rid of the coccidia now and are very healthy.  Cubby, along with his siblings, is extremely loving, playful, just a wonderful wonderful littlen kitten.  Lots of times foster mom Mary Kay has had to socialize feral kittens, but these guys were all socialized very well by the person who advertized them. 

There are four of them, and Mary Kay would love to adopt them two and two.  Cubby would do very well with his brother, Mr. Greenjeans, on this website.  Look at other pics and video to see how much they love each other.
