We exist only on donations from the public. Our adoption fees cover some of the medical costs, but there are always instances where we spend way more on a cat than the adoption fee. For instance, I recently had a cat that was very ill when I first got her, and within four weeks I had spent $1200 to get her over her terrible illness. I also recently had another kitty that cost around $2,000 over a few months. There are always expenses that outweigh the adoption fees. And there are other general medical expenses for most of the cats that the adoption fee does not cover.
There is a PayPal donation button at the very bottom of the home page for those of you who have a PayPal account. All contributions to Cats for Life are tax deductible. Thank you so much.
