Sammi is a beautiful Siamese mix, about four to five years old.  His first home neglected him and let other cats bully him.  So Sammi took the initiative and moved himself two houses down the street a few years ago.  There, a loving woman gave Sammi the quiet and secure home he needed and always wanted.  His current human adores Sammi and he loves her too, but she has to move into an assistive living facility and Sammi can't go.  Sammi needs help finding his new home this time.  There's no one in the family willing to take this sweet baby in.  Sammi is a true lap cat.  Sitting in his human's lap, having his head and ears scratched is his idea of bliss  He is also the original "scaredy cat."  Anytime someone comes to the house, he runs and hides under the bed.  So he would like a quiet home with no children or dogs.  He does get along with other cats.  He had a buddy named George who was his best pal, but George disappeared during Hurricane Ike.  Sammi doesn't really like men as much as he likes women either, but that could be just that right now the only men he knows are strangers.  With a little extra patience and lots of love, Sammi will be a wonderful, loving companion.
