Hi!  My name is Tyra, and I'm one special, lucky little girl.  My foster mom saw a pleas on her rescue e-mail group for someone to rescue me from the shelter because I had a very painful condition called entropion.  My lower eyelids were turned inward, causing my lower eyelashes to constantly brush my eyes.  It was a very painful condition.  My foster mom had Dr. McCann do surgery, and it turned out so well!  I had to wear an e-collar for almost two weeks, but I adjusted well with it and played, played, played.  It was like I had to make up for lost time because I didn't feel like playing my whole life because I was in so much pain.

I am so happy now and am so, so loving and playful.  I love to play with the two kittens at my foster mom's house.  I'm looking for my forever home now.  I'll be eternally grateful to humans for helping me.  I'm spayed, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, all shots and deworming.
