MISTY (dilute calico) (see pictures at bottom of writeup) and Heidi aka Little Dark Kitty (calico) , DSH, approximate birthdate is October 10, 2011.

It was a dark and stormy night in February when these kittens were abandoned in the Target parking lot in First Ward. Just babies, somehow they managed to survive. Cold, wet, and miserable…..weeks passed.

Some people were kind and left food by the rose bushes where the kittens lived. Some people were not, and the kittens became suspicious of humans. As luck would have it, Misty and Heidi were spotted by a good Samaritan and rescued. Enticed into a trap by the delicious aroma of KFC, they were taken into a foster home where they learned again that people are nice.

Misty, the more shy of the two, is now playful, loving, gentle, and easy to handle. She has turned into a lap kitty and purring machine! Heidi is happy to sit in your lap for awhile, but, will soon leap down to play, or to wrap round your ankles and offer up her tummy to be rubbed. Just look at those Emerald Green eyes on both kitties...can't you just see the love! These beautiful gals are spayed, FIV-FELV negative, dewormed, flea free, and up to date on their vaccinations.

These gorgeous little girls would love to be adopted together into their very own home and never be hungry or cold again….will that be yours?  Please, no dogs.  Please see pictures below to view Misty, the dilute calico.
