Meet oh-so-very-sweet Otis aka “Odie”. This handsome boy is a blue and white Manx kitty approximately six years old who is seeking his very own person to love.

He is an old soul, very gentle, loves to sleep in the bed with his human, adores attention and human interaction, being held and is a lap kitty. And, did I tell you he is quite the purr machine? He would rather lounge around looking fetching and being loved than romping and playing. He can be shy initially, but, will warm up to you once he trusts you. He’s not a demanding boy and would thrive in a home where he feels safe, wanted and loved. He will reward you with his undying affection and devotion.

Odie has lost two homes in a little over two years. He was thrown out of his previous owner’s home through no fault of his and showed up in my yard. Otis then adopted my neighbor across the street, and, has been an inside kitty since that time. He had the only love and bonding he has probably ever known with the neighbor. But….and, there always is one, isn’t there? The neighbor knew he was moving for a month, and, did not tell me until that morning that he could not take Odie. This very special boy is overwhelmed by all the other rescue kitties in the house….he says, “They are such a rowdy bunch!” He has been around a dog, and, could probably live with one in his new home as long as they are properly introduced. Even another kitty might work if they each had their own space and were allowed to meet gradually. He is so unhappy in his current living situation.

Odie has been completely vetted….neutered, received all vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV, dewormed and deflead.
