Farrah
Farrah and her sister Tara were adopted on 12-26-11 by Angela and Jerome. They are lucky little kitties. They were adopted as kittens by someone else and had to be returned this summer, almost two years later, because their family was moving back to Europe. My heart is singing that they were able to be adopted together. Angela says they got new collars and are playing with toys and chasing each other. They are perfectly happy. Angela has a blanket that they all sleep on with Angela. They sleep on the bed, under the bed, and they also sleep all over. Angela says they will follow her to the bathroom. It's like "Disneyland" to them. I understand that because my bathroom here is Disneyland to my cats and Tara and Fara when they were here. They just find the bathroom fascinating.
Thanks so, so much Angela and Jerome, for giving these girls such a wonderful home and keeping them together!
Fred
Fred was adopted by Stu and Lisa on 1-2-10. Fred is a very good-natured kitty and found his perfect home. He kind of prefers to stay in the back of the house for right now because he's a little leery of the other two cats because he used to get picked on in the cat room at his foster mom's house, but I'm sure he'll win them over. He actually is interacting more with Stu and Lisa's two dogs. He likes to sleep with Stu and Lisa or their two kids. He made himself at home from the beginning and loves everybody equally. He is a very mellow, laid-back little guy. He really wants attention from everybody, especially at night. Stu had called Fred's foster mom to find out some info. She called him back but said the phone just rang and rang. I talked to Stu, and he said that Fred knocks the phone off in their computer room quite often, and that is probably why there was no voicemail. Fred is so thrilled with his new home!
Fantasia (Juno)
Fantasia (now Juno) was adopted by DeeDee, her husband and seven kids on 3-31-09. Juno is an easygoing kitty and has lots of children to play with. Here's the latest update from Dee Dee.
"Juno is doing great! She has adapted very well to the house and all the kids. Even the two-year-old loves to play with her and gets disappointed when she wants to sleep. Both her and his favorite toys are balls, and with so many kids around the house there are plenty of them. She is a very quiet kitty and loves to play hide and seek or chase with the kids. Her favorite spot to hide is under the bed. Juno has become a full member of the family and even coaxes the kids to accidentally
'spill' drops of milk on the floor for her."
Felix
Felix was adopted on February 4, 2009, by a wonderful woman named Sandy. This was a very momentous day for Felix. Sandy is Felix's dream adopter. She is retired and has plenty of time to focus her attention on Felix, and that makes Felix very, very happy.
Felix is running around playing, sitting in Sandy's lap, taking naps with Sandy. Felix is also on the verge of becoming really good friends with Sandy's dog, Rosie. Soon they will be chasing each other around the house.
We're so happy for all concerned, as we have personally interviewed Sandy, Felix and Rosie after the adoption, and they all feel their lives have been enriched by the Felix adoption experience!
