Blue
Blue was adopted by Anja and Jeremy on 3-17-11. Anja and Jeremy were crazy about Blue from the day they met him at foster Cindy's house. Blue did well from the beginning at their house. He started sleeping with them the first night. Anja says their favorite thing is that Blue meets them at the door when they come in and talks their heads off. He shares lap time with Anja and Jeremy and flops down on them and sits almost like he's hugging them. Every night he races around for about 30 minutes and playing with toys. He especially loves catnip. And he sleeps with them every night. He also sometimes sleeps on a cabinet in the bathroom that's about eight feet off the ground. Anja has started calling him "Blueberry." Anja and Jeremy are incredible kitty parents, and Cindy and I are so glad he found his forever home with this wonderful couple!
Farrah
Farrah and her sister Tara were adopted on 12-26-11 by Angela and Jerome. They are lucky little kitties. They were adopted as kittens by someone else and had to be returned this summer, almost two years later, because their family was moving back to Europe. My heart is singing that they were able to be adopted together. Angela says they got new collars and are playing with toys and chasing each other. They are perfectly happy. Angela has a blanket that they all sleep on with Angela. They sleep on the bed, under the bed, and they also sleep all over. Angela says they will follow her to the bathroom. It's like "Disneyland" to them. I understand that because my bathroom here is Disneyland to my cats and Tara and Fara when they were here. They just find the bathroom fascinating.
Thanks so, so much Angela and Jerome, for giving these girls such a wonderful home and keeping them together!
Oscar and Daisy Mae
Cindy adopted Oscar and Daisy Mae on 12-18-11. She intended to only adopt Oscar, but she adopted both and is so, so glad she did. She thought Oscar was the more outgoing because of the way he acted at Petco, but actually Daisy Mae is the more outgoing. She owned the house from the beginning. Oscar is coming along and getting out of his shell. I'm sure he'll be all over the place in a couple of weeks. Cindy already had two female cats, and all cats love each other and are playing together. That's great news! Cindy has a cat room with cat trees and a huge basket of toys for the kitties! What a great kitty mom! Three of the cats are sleeping with Cindy. Oscar is kind of staying under the bed. He's such a sweet boy, and I know he'll be all over the place soon. Thanks so much, Cindy, for giving these two babies such a wonderul and loving home!
Wendy and Tinkerbelle
Wendy and Tinkerbelle were adopted by Carter, Sherry and daughter Alexandra on 11-21-11. They are really Alexandra's babies and she's their mom. They are both doing well and are part of the crew and family now. Ms. Tinkerbelle is a party girl and owns the house. Wendy loves Toby, their big Maine Coon. Tinkerbelle is very busy and has discovered there's a lot of attention to be had from Carter's guitar students that he teaches from home. Wendy gets jealous if you pay too much attention to Tabitha. They are exactly the cats that Alexandra wanted. They sleep with her every night. Tinkerbelle and Wendy still love each other so much, and Tinkerbelle takes care of Wendy. Sherry says they are a dynamic duo. Wendy also has a language going on with their tortie. They really entertain Carter because he's at home teaching.
Thanks so much to Alexandra, Sherry and Carter for giving these lovely girls the loving, wonderful home they so deserve!
Eleanor
Eleanor was adopted by Carolyn on 10-29-11. Eleanor didn't care too much for other cats and was so happy immediately when she came to live with Carolyn. She did well from the beginning. However, just a few days after bringing Eleanor home, Eleanor had thrown up and and wasn't eating. Carolyn took her to the emergency room. They gave her some anti-nausea medication and in just a few days she was doing well. I'm so glad Carolyn loved this baby enough to do that.
Carolyn says Eleanor is very peppy. She's feisty when Carolyn comes home, and she jumps in Carolyn's lap. She sleeps with Carolyn also. Eleanor loves her ball with the bell and runs and chases it, also her fish on a strong. Carolyn is so happy with her, and we're so happy with Carolyn for loving this girl so much! Thanks, Carolyn!
