Jackson

Jackson was adopted by Alahnna in April, 2011. Jackson was a little nervous at first, but he is now perfectly at home being his silly self. He lays on his back purring and talks and talks, Alahnna says. Alahnna has had to start hiding her sandwiches because Jackson will put his paws inside the sandwich to get the food. He really likes bread also. You have to hide the bread. He will take the bread and hide it. Alahnna carries him around and gives him kisses on the head. Jackson sleeps with Alahnna every night and loves to snuggle under the covers. When she came home one day, she found Jackson asleep on her apartment mate's chest on the couch. One night she had a friend sleep over, and Alahnna found Jackson sleeping on her chest. That Jackson is a people lover! Thanks, Alahnna, for giving Jackson such a good home. He's getting all the attention he's always craved.

Annie

Annie was adopted by James and his family on 5-5-11. Annie pretty much owned the place from the very beginning. Annie is very playful and into everything. She's a lap cat and a very affectionate cat. Mom and Annie sit together on the couch to watch a movie. Pretty much wherever you're sitting is where Annie will be. Annie sleeps anywhere but usually with James' brother, which is pretty great considering his brother was not much of a cat person before Annie came along. Everybody in the family is really crazy about Annie. What a lucky kitty! So glad Annie has such a wonderful home and family!

Charlie

Here is what Joan, Charlie's new owner, has to say. "Charlie's name is now Ringo. He's settled in quite nicely and thinks everything in the house is for his enjoyment. He and our female cat, Heidi, spend hours playing and chasing, rolling, and tumbling. They wear each other out and spend even more hours napping. Heidi is about 12 months old, just a little older than Ringo. Ringo is quite the explorer and no place seems to be off-limits to him. He's already broken one large vase of flowers by going where no cat has gone before. He is curious about our 6 parakeets, sitting on top of their cage (which has plexiglass on it so he can't reach in) for long periods of time. The birds hardly notice he's there. He's also quite gentle with our two guinea pigs, Claire and Shiloh. Ringo is very affectionate and loves to be in the big chair with me when I read my Bible in the morning. At this point, he's more attached to me than to my husband. " Thanks so much for giving Charlie such a good home!

Snow White

Snow White (now Lilly) was adopted by Sheryl, John and children on 3-30-11. Lilly was probably the most popular cat ever at Katy Petco. She is so beautiful, so friendly, so laid back. She got ten phone calls and three applications in a short time. The family feels really lucky to have her. They say she has really added some spunk to their household. Lilly has been putting Goldie, their lab, in her place and is showing her who is boss. I feel that they will become buddies one day. John says Lilly is the most laid back cat they have ever seen. She is the queen cat, and she sleeps wherever she wants to. She has a particular place kind of under a divided table where she likes to spend time. Lilly likes to be under the bed and grab at feet. She also likes to lay on top of the guinea pig cage and touch noses through the cage with the guinea pigs. I'm so happy for Lilly. She was a homeless kitty just a few weeks ago and now has the perfect home!

Lolita

Lolita, now Kitten, was adopted by Kathleen and Mark and family on 2-9-11. Lolita is doing really well. At first she was hissing at their two dogs, but now they're all moving around slowly with each other. She shows the dogs who is boss. Kitten just plays, plays, plays all the time, jumping and running. Kitten sits in Kathleen's lap. Kitten usually sleeps with daughter Ashley, and Kitten and Ashley have fallen for each other. Kathleen says Kitten has her own little jungle there with kids and animals. I'm so glad Kitten has such a wonderful, loving home. She's such a lucky kitty!
