Bobby

Bobby was adopted by Dawn, daughter Devan and family on 12-30-12. It was slow going at first, as Bobby was shy and didn't even want to come out of the bathroom, but now everything is great. Dawn says Bobby is an absolute trip and very talkative. He has his own special chair he was sitting in as Dawn and I were talking. He's a real snuggler and purrs all the time. He mainly sleeps with Devan, who is a very smart girl who did research on all the cats on Petfinder and picked out Bobby, who has ended up being the perfect match for the family. He loves to play with and ball up the rug in front of the kitchen sink and lays with Dawn in the office and lays on the monitor where you can't get work done, which Mary Kay, president of Cats for Life, is very familiar with. Dawn says they love Bobby very much. And Bobby has made good friends with the dogs! The picture above is titled "Bobby with his girl." Thanks, Dawn, Devan and family for giving Bobby such a fun, loving home!

B.B.

B.B., now Oliver, was adopted by Cheryl on 4-2-12. Cheryl is really smitten with Oliver and says he's just the greatest cat ever. He's so playful and so sweet. Oliver is also a "retriever" cat. He picks up little balls and brings them to Cheryl. Oliver and Cheryl's lab, Roxie, get along well and they play together and sleep together. He also likes to hang out in the basket looking out the bay window. Oliver is one lucky kitty and Cheryl and her family feel lucky to have Oliver. Thanks for giving this sweet boy such a good home!

Baby Boo

Baby Boo was adopted by Sue Ann and her daughter Catherine on 3-17-12. Here's what Catherine has to say about Baby Boo: "One fateful day during spring break my mother and I were running errands. On one of our many trips, a Petco was nearby – knowing me, the animal freak, I darted off into the store. It was when I looking at cat toys when I spotted a little angel with big, sweet eyes. I remember dropping everything to go to her… the little girl was a classy tuxedo cat and VERY friendly – she even gave my finger a few licks. I was so enthralled by who I then found out was ‘Beatrice’ or ‘Baby Boo’ that, when mom poked her head in to rush us to the next errand I pulled her into the store to see her. Just as I was, mom fell prey to Baby’s innocent and bubbly charm. We talked about her the whole day until mom actually called the number to ask about Baby. It was fate for us to meet our little angel, Baby Boo that day. At first she was very shy and hated to be held (especially when we wasn’t being walked around in someone’s arms) – our little dog, Daisy who was so excited to meet a new friend freaked her and our cat, Gatsby stalked her around the house. Even though the first few days were very stressful for her, she adjusted fast; in fact, just a week after she came to our home I caught Gatsby giving her a little bath. Now they have the best of times together – both the cats are almost always together that you could almost say they are connected by the hip. Baby really gets into the zone chasing around the blue and green feather duster-like toy that has a bell; in fact, sometimes Gatsby and Baby will fall over each other trying to get to the toy. She also loves crinkle balls and will pop out from anywhere if she hears one – if you don’t watch her, she’ll even carry it away in her mouth to go play by herself. Compared to Gatsby, Baby isn’t really a fan of being carried, but she’s MUCH better than she was before… she’s also is a purring machine and loves to snuggle and give lots of love. Beatrice or Baby Boo is a wonderful angel and our house feels more whole now that she’s a part of our family. Thank you so much for letting us adopt this wonderful baby girl, she's so precious and a perfect fit to our family." And thanks so much to y'all for giving this sweet girl a wonderful, loving home!

Batman
Batman

Batman was adopted by Diane on 12-30-11. Batman did pretty well from the start. However, he didn't like it when Diane put a collar on him. Batman was scared when other people came to my house, but Diane has company fairly often and Batman has become particularly fond of her friend Kellie. He even likes to sit on other people's laps. He sleeps with Diane every night. He really likes to play with little balls with bells on them and also loves the scratching post with catnip. Batman tries to eat people's feet (ha, ha). He also loves tuna fish and loves to follow Diane around. Thanks so much, Diane, for giving Batman such a wonderful home! He was a homeless kitten just a few weeks before.

Blue

Blue was adopted by Anja and Jeremy on 3-17-11. Anja and Jeremy were crazy about Blue from the day they met him at foster Cindy's house. Blue did well from the beginning at their house. He started sleeping with them the first night. Anja says their favorite thing is that Blue meets them at the door when they come in and talks their heads off. He shares lap time with Anja and Jeremy and flops down on them and sits almost like he's hugging them. Every night he races around for about 30 minutes and playing with toys. He especially loves catnip. And he sleeps with them every night. He also sometimes sleeps on a cabinet in the bathroom that's about eight feet off the ground. Anja has started calling him "Blueberry." Anja and Jeremy are incredible kitty parents, and Cindy and I are so glad he found his forever home with this wonderful couple!
