Socks
Sweet baby boy Socks was adopted by Betty and Hal on 9-26-10. Betty says Socks is just precious and has adapted so well. When Betty says, "Let's go night-night" or "Let's go take a nap," Socks just goes running with her to the bedroom. She says Socks is such a Snuggler. Socks sleeps between Hal's legs while Hal is in his recliner and props his head on Hal's stomach. Socks purrs softly and meows when he's looking for them. He runs and plays in the house with his toys. Betty says, "We just totally adore him." Betty and Hal had to put their 14-year-old kitty down on 9-13, which was totally traumatizing to them. Betty says, "Socks rescued two humans." So glad Socks rescued Betty and Hal and that Betty and Hal rescued Socks. I am so, so happy for all concerned!!
Yogi
Little Yogi was adopted by Cecelia and Ciro on 9-25-10. It was a real match made in heaven. Cecelia and Ciro already had two Siamese kitties, Simba, 15-1/2, and Jasmine, 4. Simba took to Yogi right away, but it took Jasmine just a little time to warm up to him. Well, Yogi and Jasmine are fast friends now and galloping and playing all over the house. Yogi is into everything and follows them around the house, looking in the refrigerator, stove, etc. You see, little Yogi had to live the first nine or ten weeks of his life mostly in a bathroom because the elderly woman he was living with had so many cats and didn't have that much room. So Yogi is having the time of his life having so much room and so many places to discover. Yogi at first was sleeping by Cecelia's head in the bed but has now started sleeping in a cat bed on Cecelia and Ciro's bed, along with the other two kitties. Everyone in this household is having lots of fun with Yogi. My heart is filled with joy!
Jesse
Jesse was adopted by Bobby on 9-18-10. Well, Bobby is crazy about Jesse. Jesse has slept with Bobby since the first night he adopted him. Jesse also follows him around and even follows him to the shower! Bobby says Jesse is just his second shadow. Jesse runs and jumps at the ceiling fan chains and is having a bunch of fun! Bobby says Jesse sits like a kangaroo and looks in the mirror. Jesse found his perfect home and Bobby found the perfect cat. We're so happy for both of them!
Pumpkin
Little Pumpkin kind of got off to a bad start because someone dumped him at Copperfield Petco in the shelving area, but we quickly realized he was such a sweet, sweet, outgoing little boy. He was adopted by Carolyn and her husband the first part of September, 2010. Pumpkin fit in right away. Their eight-year-old male kitty, George the Bush, has taken to Pumpkin and loves him and they play a whole lot. Pumpkin's name is now P. Pie.
Carolyn says P. Pie is very much a lap kitty and loves to head butt. She says P. Pie sits in your lap like a person. Carolyn says P. Pie comes when called but also knows when to get down when Carolyn says to get down. She says P. Pie just couldn't be cuter. We're so glad P. Pie has such a loving and permanent home rather than the loser who dumped him at Petco. What a loss for that person. P. Pie is so, so personable!!
Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh was adopted by Lucy, her husband and two little girls on 9-5-10. They didn't have any pets, and they are so glad they adopted Winnie. They think Winnie is great and fits in so well with the family. She's very affectionate also. The girls are three and five and just love to kiss Winnie. Winnie is also a lap kitty and tends to wander toward adult laps because the little girls' laps are so small. The girls love to entertain Winnie with a feather toy. Lucy thinks the girls are doing so, so well with Winnie. Lucy says Winnie is very communicative and loves to roll over on her back, which we all know means the cat trusts them and is allowing herself to be vulnerable.
We're so happy for Winnie. Winnie has found the absolute perfect loving home and is getting all the attention now that she wanted when she lived in a multi-cat home with her foster!! Yay for Lucy and family!
