Bandit
Bandit was adopted by Darren and Caitlyn on 2-10-13. It was slow going at first with Bandit and their kitty, Galanos. We waited a while to do the Happy Tails story because they were taking a while to become buddies. Well, they have finally become buddies and play with each other and even sleep on the bed together with Darren and Caitlyn. When Darren and Caitlyn sit down to relax and watch TV, Bandit will sit in their laps for a while. Bandit has one special toy, a rubber flower pot, that he loves. As a matter of fact, they have to put it away at night. Otherwise Bandit will play with it like crazy in the middle of the night. Thanks so much to Darren and Caitlyn for giving Bandit a forever and loving home. He was returned after his adopters had him almost a couple of years, no fault of Bandit's; something about somebody developing allergies all of a sudden. I'm so happy for Bandit!
Teddy
Teddy was adopted by Zyria and son on 3-30-13. Teddy hid for about a day and then was just fine. Zyria says Teddy follows her around, which she loves. She said he likes to be where everybody else is. But when you're not supposed to be there, he kind of knows it, and once he realizes no big action is going to happen, he'll slip off to take a nap. He gets along very well with Zyria's son also. Teddy usually gets in the bed with Zyria about midnight and sleeps right next to her. He also like for her to carry him around the house. And he likes his laser light, but he really loves his feather toy!
Thanks so much, Zyria, for giving Teddy such a loving, wonderful home. We're so grateful!
Snowball
Snowball was adopted by Kathleen and family on 4-3-13. Snowbill fit in with the whole family from the beginning. Snow and Kathleen's other cat, Nola, are starting to become friends and will now sleep in Kathleen's lap at the same time. Snow is being more careful with the dogs, although she will wait for the dogs to jump down off the couches when someone comes to the door to ambush them, ha, ha, in a playful way. Snowball has learned to hit the little bells on the door, Kathleen thinks, to let you know she wants something. One funny thing is that Nola has a little toy cow, whose name is "Cow." Nola hid Cow almost from the minute that Snowball came into the house. I guess she didn't want to share it with Snowball. Well, they just discovered Cow again a few days ago. This is a good sign that Nola is beginning to trust Snowball. I know they'll be fast friends soon. Kathleen says Snowball is smart, loving and has been such a joy. Thanks, Kathleen, for giving Snowball a wonderful, spoiled life! She was just a little stray living outside a few months ago.
Lola
Lola was adopted by Angel and family on 3-3-13. Lola has become really good friends with Angel's other cat, Mr. Mittens. They love to play together and are getting along great. Lola loves to sleep with Angel and Michelle and lays by their feet. Lola really likes to look out the sliding glass door. Thanks, Angel and Michelle, for giving Lola a safe and loving home.!
Pumpkin
Sweet little Pumpkin was adopted by Rebecca and family on 3-19-13. Pumpkin was relaxed and settled in from the beginning. The kids all love him, and Pumpkin knows that he's part of the family. They say he's so friendly and sweet. He sleeps in different places, the kids' beds, on the sofa and also in the dog crate. Mr. Pumpkin kicked the dogs out of their crate. The dogs love Pumpkin, and Pumpkin tolerates the dogs. All of the animals eat together. Pumpkin loves his little mice and crinkly toys. Rebecca also says that Pumpkin comes when they call his name.
Thanks so much to Rebecca and family for giving little Pumpkin, a formerly homeless kitten, such a wonderful home!
