Shelby

Shelby, a grey tabby with white and almost 3 years old, was adopted on 5-29-13 by Gina and 14-year-old son, Nick. Shelby acclimated to her new owners and home faster than usual. After bringing Shelby home, they put her in a bathroom and spent an hour or so with her there. Then they went into the living room. A short time later, Shelby appeared there, as if she'd gotten bored with the bathroom. Apparently she knows how to open doors. Shelby quickly took to her owners and immediately found her favorite sleeping place. It's right next to Nick in his bed at night. Shelby also follows Nick around the house, and they've bonded from the start. Great news because Shelby was adopted to be Nick's cat, and he selected her.
