Betty

Betty was adopted by Billy and Linda on 3-7-14. Betty did well from the beginning. She's a very friendly cat. And she gets along with the dogs. She sleeps with Billy and Linda at night along with some doggies. When the dogs are out, she sits in their laps because Billy always has a Puggle in his lap. Betty's favorite toy is a little stuffed carrot that they bought for her. Billy says they just love her to death. Thanks, Billy and Linda, for giving Betty such a loving home!

Bobby II

Bobby II (now Pumpkin)was adopted by Lynn and family on 11-23-13. Pumpkin was shy for only about an hour and just took off and did well in the household. He's a lap kitty when he wants to be. His kitty mate, Lucky, Lynn's other kitty, sleeps with mom and dad along with Pumpkin. Little Lucky is blind from an illness when he was teeny, tiny, and Lucky and Pumpkin now are playing, cuddling and sleeping together. Dog Comet tolerates the kitties crawling on him. Lynn heard noises upstairs the other day, and Pumpkin had found a domino and pushed it down the stairs and played quite a while with it. Thanks so much, Lynn and family, for giving Pumpkin such a wonderful, warm, loving home. He's so grateful to be having his first Merry Christmas with his new family!

Bonnie & Clyde

Bonnie & Clyde (now Purrcy and Lacey) were adopted by Debbie on 8-28-13. They made themselves at home from the very beginning. The three other cats and Tebow, the dog, are all great friends with Purrcy and Lacey also. Purrcy, a real purr machine, is best friends with the dog. Lacey is friends with everybody. Debbie believes Purrcy is deaf and that Lacey is her guide cat. We never noticed it before, but Debbie believes it for several reasons, one being that once the vacuum cleaner comes out, all the others run, but Purrcy goes straight at the vacuum cleaner. Lacey is Chantilly Lace, Zsa Zsa Cox. She is Debbie's little girl. It's been a long time since she's had a little girl. Lacey is funny in that she loves to stick her tongue up Debbie's nose! Ha, ha. Debbie had adopted a cat named Kaboodle a year or so ago from Cats for Life. Thanks, Debbie, for being such a wonderful pet mom and giving all these formerly homeless animals such a loving home!

Bennie

Bennie was adopted by Steph and Jim the first part of August, 2013. His name is now Maximus (they call him Max). Steph says Max has a very good appetite. He was very outgoing from day one. He sleeps in bed with Steph and Jim and the dog, Sawyer. Jim wasn't particularly interested in getting another animal, but now Max loves to sleep on Jim's shoulder and Max is crazy about Jim. Max is a little comedian that makes them laugh. Max also loves to play with Sawyer, a lot at night, and they are becoming best friends. Max's favorite toy is the "bouncy mouse." Thanks so much for giving this formerly homeless kitten such a wonderful, loving and fun home! And this is a follow-up from Steph: "Max" and his 'brother from another mother' Sawyer play everyday. Just like two kids. At night they sleep right next to each other. Max also enjoys sunning himself on our balcony, when Sawyer goes onto the balcony for his morning sun nap. He's curious and loves to remind me every morning at 8:01 AM that his breakfast is 1 minute late!

Bandit
Bandit

Bandit was adopted by Darren and Caitlyn on 2-10-13. It was slow going at first with Bandit and their kitty, Galanos. We waited a while to do the Happy Tails story because they were taking a while to become buddies. Well, they have finally become buddies and play with each other and even sleep on the bed together with Darren and Caitlyn. When Darren and Caitlyn sit down to relax and watch TV, Bandit will sit in their laps for a while. Bandit has one special toy, a rubber flower pot, that he loves. As a matter of fact, they have to put it away at night. Otherwise Bandit will play with it like crazy in the middle of the night. Thanks so much to Darren and Caitlyn for giving Bandit a forever and loving home. He was returned after his adopters had him almost a couple of years, no fault of Bandit's; something about somebody developing allergies all of a sudden. I'm so happy for Bandit!
