Buttercup
Buttercup

Buttercup (now Olly) was adopted by Nicola on 2-27-11. Nicola had adopted another Cats for Life cat, Abby, right about a year before. Abby is the calico in the picture, and Olly is the brown and white tabby towards the front, and one of Nicola's dogs ia also in the picture. Nicola has a very nice animal family with two cats and two dogs, and they're all getting along beautifully. Abby and Olly sit side by side and chase each other. Olly sits on the top cushion of the couch and Abby sits on the bottom cushion, and Olly likes to jump on Abby and play attack her. All four animals sleep on the sofa together also. Olly is a real purr baby, and you only have to look at him to make him purr. Nicola keeps the litter boxes in her closed garage, and she has found Olly's little blanket in the garage, meaning Olly has been pulling it through the cat door for some reason. So funny! Nicola is a wonderful pet parent and I'm so happy for her and all of her animals!

Billy Joe
Billy Joe

Just before the Memorial Day Holiday, 2010, Ms. Dawn Wartick and her family were vacationing in Houston from their home in Montana. They stopped in at Copperfield Petco where she spotted little Billy Joe, and it was love at first sight. She adopted Billy Joe and everyone made the trip back to Montana with no problems. Billy Joe (now Gator) is best friends now with Dawn's Labradoodle, Peanut Butter, and they play together and sleep together. They both sleep with Dawn and her husband. Gator will jump on Butter's face, like just for a ride. Butter plays with Gator and knows when to stop. She thinks they became pretty good friends on the ride up to Montana. Gator is one lucky, lucky kitty that Dawn happened to be vacationing in Texas. We're so happy for Dawn and her family and Peanut Butter!

Buda
Buda

Buda was adopted by Rusty on 3-20-10. Buda was a really special cat to me because he was with me for five years. Rusty is an awesome adopter. When I called Rusty for the final follow-up tonight, he and Buda were playing with the laser light. Buda likes to follow Rusty around and get lots more attention than he did at my household of multi cats. Buda likes to get Rusty's attention whenever he can, when he's sitting, when he's working on the computer. He also likes to sleep with Rusty but is ready to go exploring around 5:00 in the morning. I'm so happy for my Scooty-Boot. He's found that perfect home that he doesn't have to share with so many other kitties!

Bouncer
Bouncer

Bouncer was a very, very popular cat, and even after he was adopted by Chris and Serena on 11-21-09, many people still asked about him and wanted to adopt him. So Bouncer was lucky and Chris and Serena are so lucky to have lively Bouncer. He was shy at first but has now very much warmed up and really loves to play! Yay, Bouncer!

Buddy
Buddy

Buddy was adopted by a very wonderful lady named Marilyn on 12-19-09. Well, Buddy moved in and took over from the very beginning and was not shy. He loves toys and loves to help Marilyn on the computer. He also likes to sleep with her. He is a little cuddle bug. He's getting along with Marilyn's 12-year-old female kitty fabulously. Her three-year-old is still a little standoff-ish, but I'm sure Buddy will win her over. Buddy's enthusiasm seems to scare her a little bit. Marilyn is crazy about Buddy, and Buddy now has a wonderful home, whereas four months ago he was destined to become feral and live an outside feral life with probably only a life span of a couple of years. So happy for Marilyn and Buddy!
