Callie
Callie

Callie was adopted by Kirstie and Ruben on 1-25-14. Callie settled in just fine with all the people. Their cat Noah took a while to take to Callie. They're still not best friends, but they both sleep on the bed with Kirstie and Ruben. Callie is not a lap cat but loves to be beside you when you're watching TV, working, et cetera. Callie's favorite place to sit is in a window in their bedroom. Kirstie and Ruben are so happy with Callie. Thanks, Kirstie and Ruben, for giving Callie such a wonderful home!

Cooper

Cooper (now Chuzzlewitt) was adopted 5-31-13. They just adored him and he adored them from the start. He was okay with the dogs also and let them know who was boss. He spends a whole lot of time in the upstairs area of the house. He even has his own room and shares it with Clare and daughter Elizabeth. He loves to sleep with them also. He has tons of toys and has also taken over all of Elizabeth's own toys. Elizabeth has a tunnel that Chuzzlewitt loves to run through and chase toys through. Chuzzie and Clare have their own alone time after Elizabeth goes to bed, and he tries to get Clare to chase things through the tunnel also. His favorite toy is a really large toy snake. He takes the snake everywhere. Chuzzie is also so good with Clare's disabled brother and waits for him to get on the computer. It sounds like Chuzzie tries to divide all his love equally amongst everybody. He also loves Clare's parents. Sounds like he gets plenty of attention. I am so thrilled for Chuzzie, and Clare said she couldn't stand to think that Chuzzie was homeless at one time. We feel like Chuzzie was the lottery winner on homes. Thanks so much to Clare and family!

Cody
Cody

Little Cody was adopted by Tony and daughter Nikki on 8-10-11. Cody wasn't scared very long and then began having a lot of fun. He follows Nikki around the house, and he has a special toy that they bought him that he carries around in his mouth a lot. Cody is very sweet and playful. He is also best friends now with their other kitty, Oreo, and they love to sleep together and always make room for each other. They just got Cody and Oreo a fantastic cat tree that a friend made for them! I'm so happy for Cody. He was born to some kitties in the back yard of an elderly woman's house, and he could have been homeless. He has loving people in Tony and Nikki and a best friend in Oreo! Thanks, Tony and Nikki!

Charlie
Charlie

Here is what Joan, Charlie's new owner, has to say. "Charlie's name is now Ringo. He's settled in quite nicely and thinks everything in the house is for his enjoyment. He and our female cat, Heidi, spend hours playing and chasing, rolling, and tumbling. They wear each other out and spend even more hours napping. Heidi is about 12 months old, just a little older than Ringo. Ringo is quite the explorer and no place seems to be off-limits to him. He's already broken one large vase of flowers by going where no cat has gone before. He is curious about our 6 parakeets, sitting on top of their cage (which has plexiglass on it so he can't reach in) for long periods of time. The birds hardly notice he's there. He's also quite gentle with our two guinea pigs, Claire and Shiloh. Ringo is very affectionate and loves to be in the big chair with me when I read my Bible in the morning. At this point, he's more attached to me than to my husband. " Thanks so much for giving Charlie such a good home!

Commander
Commander

Commander (now Antonio) was adopted by Deborah on 12-5-10. Commander is a very confident cat and made himself at home from the day he came home with Deborah. Deborah's kitty is still getting used to Antonio, but Antonio and the dog are getting along just fine. Antonio is a real chow cat and has gained some weight. He wants to be in your lap and knead. Whatever lap is available is fine for him. And Deborah says, since she changed his name, it doesn't matter to Antonio what you call him as long as there's food and a lap somewhere! So glad Antonio got such a great home!
