Rainey
Rainey

Rainey Dey was adopted by Beckie and Tom on 6-16-12. Beckie says Rainey was at ease from the very beginning. She says Rainey Dey is very kitten-like and is just all over the place! She plays with toys, toy mice, everything. She's not a lap kitty but comes up to see them when she wants to. Their dog ignores her, and it's going to take a little time for their other kitty to get used to Rainey Dey. Beckie and Tom love Rainey so much and think she's a sweetheart and a keeper! Thanks so much, Beckie and Tom, for giving this lovely girl such a good home. She was just a skinny stray found homless and now she's found her forever home!

Duchess of Snugglesworth

Here's what Duchess/Lacey Ann has to say about her new home! "Hi, my name is Lacey Ann formerly known as Dutchess of Snugglesworth. I love my new home & my new mommy & daddy, Perry & Debbie. I have a big ole house all to myself to run & play in! I get lots of exercise running up & down the stairs. I love to chase the brightly colored balls my daddy bought me and oh yea, that laser light, it’s awesome! There’s lots of nooks & crannies upstairs where I can catch a little cat nap when I’m pooped. I have a big comfy chair in the bedroom where I sleep half the night and the other half I sleep between my mommy & daddy in bed until I wake up & have to chase that white tip on my tail! I also love to lay in the window & soak up the sun & watch the many birds & those lizards in the flowerbed. They keep me entertained for hours! I love my new home & I’m just about to get my new mommy & daddy trained just the way I want them….. I get belly rubs on demand, and that’s a lot! Plus all the brushings I want. You know a girl has to have a silky smooth coat…..hmmm…there’s real diva potential here. And mommy & daddy, well they are very happy too. Since I came to live with them, they said I’ve really made this house a Home again. I really thank my foster mommy, Mary Kay, for taking such good care of me & finding me my very own perfect forever home! Gotta go, time for a little cat nap." Thanks so much, Perry and Debbie, for giving Lacey Ann a long-awaited, well-deserved loving, wonderful home!

Misty and Heidi

Misty and Heidi were adopted by a very nice man, Tony, on 6-9-12. Msty & Heidi were kind of scared at first. He started them in the bathroom, but the first night there, they were sleeping in the bed with Tony. Misty sleeps on his left and Heidi sleeps at his feet. They are lap kitties, and they like sitting in Tony's lap while he plays video games. They're rather mesmerized by the TV when he's playing the games. They love to play with little balls with bells, and they love the laser light. Another favorite thing that they like to do is get under the covers of the bed when Tony is not there. Tony is thrilled with these girls and says it has filled a void of not having pets since childhood. What lucky kitties!! Thanks, Tony!

Emi
Emi

Emi was adopted by Michael and Nadja on 5-12-12. Emi pretty much made herself at home from the very beginning. Emi didn't have a lot of room at her foster house. So I'm sure she is loving having so much space. Nadja says she loves to play and has a squeaky mouse and feather toy that are her favorites. She's not a lap kitty, but she loves to sit beside them and be petted. She loves to go where the people go! Emi also likes to sleep on the desk and loves to sit on the highest level of the cat tree. Thanks so much, Michael and Nadja, for giving this girl such a wonderful home!

Harley

Here's what Annette has to say about Harley: "Hi Joy Ann. Life is one big tummy rub at the Smith House! He is eating well and pooping etc like he should. When my husband and I are eating dinner... Harley drags his toy out in the middle of the den and starts playing by himself. My husband will sit down on the floor with him and play. He gets him all reved up. Harley is a good stress reducer for me and my husband. My youngest son you met, lives at college but he will be home this summer. He called on the phone last thur. and told me - he was actually looking forward to coming home to see Harley again. Our old house kitty used to sleep with him, so I was kind of worried how he would take to the new kitty "taking over". They slept together- or not.. Harley runs around the room and plays sporadically all night! He likes to jump on things that move under the covers. Saturday evening my oldest son came home and all 4 of us were watching and laughing while I showed the guys Harley's acrobatic tricks. Roxie, my 13 yr old Jack Russell Terrier, got jealous and started playing like a silly little kitten with Harley's cat toy in the middle of the floor with me, she was jumping and hopping. I had to have a toy in both hands playing while my guys laughed at us... I wish I had a video of that. Roxie tried to steal Harley's show. Then Harley would streak through the room, running and sliding on my polished wood floor. A lot of the photos I take are of a streak. He likes to run through my legs while I am least expecting it... It trips me, he would be too much for an older person- he likes action! I am so glad he asked me to get him out of that cage, He likes to run. Sometimes it is quiet and then I hear a loud gallop up and down the stairs. I got some new photos of him... they will start to all look alike. He has discovered a sunny spot on the rug in the middle of the den for a good nap to take a break from playing. We have a motion sensor burglar alarm, so when I leave, I put him in the utility room to keep him safe. He likes it in there too, He has a lot of levels to jump on. He has his litter box in there, his nail scratcher, and food. No problem with the furniture. I make a loud buzzer sound that makes him and everyone jump to discourage bad behavior, It works! He really hardly ever meows, when he does, it is very soft. He is not a talker. He comes when I call his name, that is very unusual for a cat. He is very expressive with his tail and eyes. He does not really like to be held,( 4 seconds max) - it is too confining, but he loves to be petted and rubbed. He will lay down on the floor under the glass coffee table in the den when we watch TV and the dog is in my lap. He will jump up to let me know he is there and jump down and lay where we can see him. He hides in plain sight. We all love Harley. Thank you and your friend that nursed him, I am so glad you saved him. - He Really Loves Life and shows Gratitude for Everything! He IS Very Special, Sincerely, Annette Smith" Thanks so much to Annette and family for giving Harley the perfect home! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
