Cass
Cass

Josephine and her wonderful family adopted Cass, and they really love her. A little over a year after adopting her, this is what Jo has to say: "Cass is doing wonderfully. She has settled in and is best friends with Blue, the smallest of our other two cats, and Carlo, our Papillion. She loves to play chase with him. She sleeps with me every night, right beside Carlo. She is loved by all, including our two bigger dogs. She allows them to sniff her and touch noses with them. One of her favorite pastimes is to sit in the back office and watch the finches in the bushes. She also loves to sit and watch the front yard. There is always something happening on our street. She also loves to follow our maid Rosa around the house, watching her work, while the girls are at school. She is not afraid to get your undivided attention. She will come and sit on your computer keyboard, book or paper and give you cute..." We're so, so happy for Cass that she has such a loving and perfect home!

Curly
Curly

Curly (now Vader) was adopted by Scott and Jennifer on 8-31-09. They had older cat Miggity and Leo, who is 2-1/2 years old. Leo was quite active, maybe a little too active for older Miggity, and Leo is a 22-lb Norwegian Forest kitty. Leo and Vader have become fast friends and run around and play together all the time. As a matter of fact, Vader even tires Leo out much of the time. Miggity has recently been diagnosed with impending kidney failure, and Scott and Jennifer are doing fluids three times a week, something Mary Kay is very familiar with. Now Miggity has a chance to be on her own and rest now that Leo and Vader are friends, and we're glad for that. Vader loves to sleep on Scott's head at night, and Vader always wakes Jennifer up with little kisses about 20 minutes before the alarm goes off every morning. So happy for Vader!

Casey
Casey

Casey was adopted by Amanda and Jeff, a very, very sweet couple who already had two kitties and fell in love with Casey. Here's Amanda's story on Casey: "My husband and I first saw Casey at Petco. It was love at first sight! I took a picture of her on my cell phone, and we decided to think it over for a few days before attempting to adopt her. We couldn't get her out of our minds and even stopped by Petco separately to visit her when we were out running errands! Finally, we decided that we couldn't live without her and chose to adopt her. Since then, she's been such a joy! She has a very big personality and is very vocal. She loves sitting next to us when we watch TV, and when I am working in my study, she always comes in and lies down under my chair. She's grown very attached, even 'calls' for us." Maria (Casey's foster) and Mary Kay are so happy that Casey has such a loving home with Jeff and Amanda!

Cruiser
Cruiser

Cruiser was adopted by just a great and lovely couple, Dave and Lauren. They love kitties and are very conscientious. They fell in love with Cruiser up at Katy Petco. He's a very easy cat to fall in love with. Dave and Lauren enjoy having a lap kitty. Cruiser loves having Twinkles in the household also, as he lived with her before they both got adopted. Cruiser, Twinkles, Dave and Lauren are so happy!

Cinderella (Eva)
Cinderella (Eva)

Here is what Simon has to say eight months after he and his family adopted Cinderella, now Eva. I think this is a beautiful story. Not only do I think Simon and his family are wonderful cat owners, I think maybe Simon should be a writer. "Cinderella very quickly became EVA, on account of her arriving on Christmas Eve. Although my youngest will insist on referring to her as 'her pretty little Princess.' So the story on Eva is quite an amazing one. We have never owned a girl cat before, and we were just expecting her to be the same as our other cats. How wrong we were. She is as different and as wonderful as she can possibly be. Everything we do, she is there watching to see what it is. My wife gets ready in the morning, Eva is there watching. If we are doing something in the kitchen, Eva is there watching. When we bring shopping home, she is in each and every bag to see what we have bought. She has to know what is going on at all times. Ripley, our 13-year-old cat, was showing signs of being on his last legs before Eva arrived. Now he is a sprightly young thing prancing around and flirting with her in every way possible. Eva lifted his spirits, that's for sure. Frank, the other cat we had, now has a friend to play ball with, and they spend hours just knocking the ball around on the floor together. But here is the thing we have noticed that sets Eva apart. Everything Eva does, the way she walks, the way she runs, the way she cleans herself, the way she plays, the way she sleeps is done in such a feminine way, there is no way she could be mistaken for a boy. If she could, she'd have her nails done at least once a week. Everything about Eva is beautiful, and we are so pleased to have crossed paths with her. We hope she stays in our lives for the longest time possible."
