Thumbelina
Thumbelina

Thumbelina (now Bella) was adopted on 9-20-13 by Kathy, Shayne and family. She was right at home from the very beginning. We worked really hard to find the perfect kitty for the family, as they had a ten-month-old daughter. Bella is a cat you can just practically do anything with. She is so easygoing. Bella really loves the baby, Shayne and is really good friends with the dog and other cat, and she loves to be around the whole family. She sleeps in the bedroom with Kathy and Shayne. They say she's an awesome kitty and they really love her. Thanks, Kathy, and family for giving this little girl such a wonderful home.

Bonnie & Clyde

Bonnie & Clyde (now Purrcy and Lacey) were adopted by Debbie on 8-28-13. They made themselves at home from the very beginning. The three other cats and Tebow, the dog, are all great friends with Purrcy and Lacey also. Purrcy, a real purr machine, is best friends with the dog. Lacey is friends with everybody. Debbie believes Purrcy is deaf and that Lacey is her guide cat. We never noticed it before, but Debbie believes it for several reasons, one being that once the vacuum cleaner comes out, all the others run, but Purrcy goes straight at the vacuum cleaner. Lacey is Chantilly Lace, Zsa Zsa Cox. She is Debbie's little girl. It's been a long time since she's had a little girl. Lacey is funny in that she loves to stick her tongue up Debbie's nose! Ha, ha. Debbie had adopted a cat named Kaboodle a year or so ago from Cats for Life. Thanks, Debbie, for being such a wonderful pet mom and giving all these formerly homeless animals such a loving home!

Miss Cali
Miss Cali

Miss Calli was adopted by Helen and granddaughter Stephanie and family on 9-22-13. Miss Cali is doing wonderfully and now owns the house! Every day she waits for Stephanie to come home from school and sleeps with Stephanie. She follows Stephanie around like a little puppy dog. Stephanie and the whole family are also crazy about Miss Calli. She was shy at first and a little shy around Greg, but now she's good friends with everybody. She's slowly making it to friendship with the three Schnauzers. When the Schnauzers are outside, Miss Cali bats at the window. When Helen's daughter visited recently, Miss Calli was all over her. Thanks so much to Helen, Stephanie and family for giving this little girl such a wonderful, loving home. She was once a homeless kitty. She once was lost but now she's found!!

Rudy

Here's what Misty, Rudy's new mom has to say: "Rudy and I got along right away. He's a very snuggly, lovable little guy. It took longer for he and my other kitty, Pippa, to be friends with each other, though. They were unsure of one another at first and both of them wanted to be Top Kitty! However, after a few wrestling matches, Rudy and Pippa have worked through their differences and are now good friends! They both follow each other around and like to stay within a few feet of each other most of the time (sometimes that means group trips to the litter box - to each his own, I say!). When the two are not together, Rudy can be found snoozing in his cat tree or up in his window perch, soaking up some sun. My favorite thing about him is how excited he gets when I come home every day. It doesn't matter if I've been gone for a couple of hours or just twenty minutes - he always comes to meet me and tell me how much he missed me. Rudy has made himself at home, not only in my apartment, but in my heart as well. He is a terrific fur baby and I couldn't be happier with my decision to adopt him. " Thanks so much, Misty, for giving Rudy such a wonderful home and new buddies!

Moby
Moby

Moby was adopted by Cindy and Mark on 9-8-13. Moby was scared a little bit at first and was under the bed, but after a few hours he came out and has been glued to Cindy ever since. Cindy says he's such a lovable boy and most definitely a lap cat. He sleeps part of the night with Cindy and then goes different places. He loves to play with the feather toy and any kind of ball. So far Moby has a peaceful coexistence with the dogs. Hopefully they'll be friends later. Also, Cindy has put a chair in the breakfast room in a strategic spot so that Moby can look outside. Thanks so much, Cindy and Mark, for giving Moby such a wonderful, loving home!
